Dr Cristina De Juan 

Founder & CEO, IMT Innovation

Cristina is the Founder & CEO of IMT Innovation, the digital health innovation platform . Cristina is a Faculty Member at Barts X Medicine, the first digital health course for medical students in the UK. Cristina is also a Board Member of Medical Realties, a company democratising surgical training using Virtual Reality. Cristina holds a PhD in Genetics, and is a counsel member of the Royal Society of Medicine. She was recently named one of the 100 most-influential global leaders in healthtech.

Dr Keith Grimes

GP at Eastbourne Hailsham and Seaford CCG

A UK based General Practitioner,  I’m also the founder of VR Doctors! My abiding passions are Digital Health, Innovation and Technology. I have been involved in the creation and delivery of innovative clinical services such as the award nominated Roving GP service in Brighton & Hove, East Sussex. More recently I’ve been privileged to work with the Digital Health and Care Institute, NHS Fife, and Glasgow Caledonian University on the award winning MyLittleOne (MLO), a neonatal intensive care camera/tablet system.

Dr Indra Joshi

Clinical  Lead at NHS England

Indra graduated from University College Medical School in London and works both as an Emergency Medicine specialist and a Health Policy Advisor for the Civil Service. She has a special interest in expedition and travel medicine and has completed many tours around the world working with voluntary organisations and the Olympic Committee. She spent 3 years researching the use of Web 2.0 technologies in healthcare and health informatics and published her findings internationally.

Chris Tyson

CTO, Aparito

Chris is the CTO of aparito, a company which utilises wearable technology, smart phone apps and cloud based systems to change the way patient well-being is monitored for clinical trials and routine healthcare. Before aparito, Chris spent over 15 years delivering regulated IT solutions for some of world’s largest pharmaceutical companies. Chris has a background in software development and also holds an MBA from Manchester Business School.

Bonella Ramsay 

Global Co-Chair, Life Sciences Sector at DLA Piper

Bonella Ramsay is the Global Co-Chair of the Life Sciences Sector at DLA Piper. She is involved in IP rights management and strategy as well as structuring and negotiating the exploitation of IP rights. She has a particular focus on digital health and technology transactions for the pharmaceutical and biosciences sector.

 

Dr Christoph Ruedig

Partner at Albion Ventures LLP

Christoph’s focus is on investments in healthcare and renewables. He initially practiced as a radiologist. In 2006, he joined 3i working for their Healthcare Venture Capital after which he worked for GE’s healthcare division, where he was responsible for mergers and acquisitions in the medical technology and healthcare IT sectors. He holds a degree in medicine from Ludwig-Maximilians University, Munich and an MBA from INSEAD.
